Seriously, I am curious what you may have been looking for that would have landed you on my website. Perhaps you were looking for topics related to St. Teresa? Topics on mystics? Maybe you are a fan of Caroline Myss? I know my journey went down many paths, and its comforting to know I'm not alone.
This website was originally created for my private counseling practice , because I love the imagery in St. Teresa's work, Entering the Castle. I even called my practice Avilan Counseling, but the path changed abruptly due to a cancer diagnosis, and now I no longer see clients. I am, however, learning more about life and the spirit from cancer than I did in my masters program or years in ministry. I honestly feel I would now be a much better counselor than I was before, and I was pretty good.
That said, I will now use this site to share my thoughts and reflections on life from a different perspective. I'll be happy to engage in dialogue and share some wisdom while I am still able. I have a few years left ... So, lets get going!
